About Fygment
Fygment is the platform for managing and governing AI skills. It gives individuals, teams and enterprises one governed place for the skills they use in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor and other AI tools.

Why Fygment exists
AI skills are reusable instructions, workflows, checklists and scripts that teach an AI tool how a team does its work. They spread quickly: copied between laptops, pasted into chats, pulled from public repositories. Nobody can say which version is in use, who approved it, or what it is allowed to do. Fygment turns that scattered setup into one inventory, one lifecycle and one set of rules.
What Fygment does
Fygment brings skills together in a private registry, keeps every version under control, checks external skills for risky behaviour before anyone uses them, and lets each organisation decide who may create, approve, share and install skills, and in which AI tools.
- A governed skill registry with versions, owners, approvals and an audit trail
- Security checks for imported skills, with NVIDIA SkillSpector
- Delivery into the AI tools a team already uses, through MCP, the CLI and packages
- Update checks and install drift alerts, so everyone runs the reviewed version
Who it is for
Individual power users who want their own skills organised and portable; teams that want shared skills reviewed before they spread; and enterprises that need identity, policy and audit controls over how AI tools are instructed. The Solo plan is free, and teams can start without talking to sales.
For AI agents
Agents can use Fygment directly through the remote MCP server at https://fygment.dev/api/mcp, the fygment-mcp npm package, the fygment CLI, or the REST API described at https://fygment.dev/openapi.json. https://fygment.dev/llms.txt explains when to use Fygment and how to connect.
